Calling all ghosts, ghouls, and goblins – it’s that time of year again! Grab your most mud-worthy footwear and get ready to stomp around corn mazes, hayrides, and of course, rows and rows of pumpkins. As a lifelong Washington local, I’ve been to a lot of local pumpkin patches around here, and these are my favorites.
Deemed Snohomish Valley’s original pumpkin patch, folks have been happily attending Craven Farm’s Fall Pumpkin Patch Festival since 1983. There’s no shortage of autumnal fun here; outside of their extra-large pumpkin patch, you can fire apples out of a cannon, run around the “Alice in Pumpkin-land” corn maze, play a round of mini golf, and check out lots of farm animals. If you’re hungry, snag some funnel cakes and cheese curds, grab a hot fall beverage, or my personal favorite: devour as many apple cider donuts as you can. They even have special dog-dedicated days, so you can bring the family pup.
This is another biggie; there’s something for literally everyone here, with 30+ attractions. Find u-pick pumpkins, play areas for the kids, hay rides, and even a beer garden. If you’re looking to lean into Halloween’s spooky vibes, check out their special haunted walk-through attractions or sign up for clown shot paintball. And for all the hockey fans out there, Stocker Farms partnered with Seattle Kraken for this year’s maze design. If you stick around long enough on Saturday evenings, you’ll catch a special fireworks show.
Two words for you: zombie paintball. So after you score your pumpkin, finish the corn maze, go gem mining, and ride some Pro Karts (kid and adult sizes) you can take your chances with a mob of zombies. Enjoy a beverage at the beer and wine garden, and try your luck in one of their five-minute escape rooms.
Knuckleheads, Warty Goblins, White Ghost…so many pumpkin varieties, so little time! Grab a wheelbarrow and find your perfect gourd, wind your way through the corn maze, and take a ride through the grounds on their “animal” train.
This pumpkin patch is a great choice for families with younger kiddos – the Farm Fun Yard is packed with farm animals, a goat walk, rubber duck races, and more. And talk about out of this world; this year’s corn maze is space themed!
If you’re looking for a pumpkin patch with a little more thrill factor, this one might be the one for you. The Remlinger Farms Harvest Festival is in full swing, and with it, the Family Fun Park, which is full of fair rides, steam train rides, pony rides, and tons of fall sweets and treats. This is a full-day experience, and well worth it! Weekends only.
It’s everything you could ever want from a classic pumpkin patch: corn maze, pumpkin sling shot, farm animals, adorable gift shop with fall décor, seasonal concessions, and of course, lots and lots of pumpkins, ready to be taken home and carved. Make sure to stop by on a weekend for a couple ears of roasted corn.
This one is my family’s go-to! Besides a great assortment of u-pick pumpkins, there’s a market, an apple canon, a couple corn mazes, hayrides, train rides, play areas, and more. If you’re looking for some quality time with your friends or family, you can rent private firepits inside their corn maze, firewood and tiki torches included.
Looking for gourds a little closer to home? Stop by any Metropolitan Market location to check out a wild assortment of pumpkins, ready to be carved.
